For longer lasting, Michelin pilot road 3's. Sticky, Dunlop or Pirelli's.

$260 for the pair that was the cheapest that i could find with one day shipping
Another tire thread. Sorry, I can't read through all this again. but have to offer mo .02.
BTO-16 190/55/17 was a great tire. Three compound front. Five compound rear, center is hard, edges are real soft in the warm weather. The turn in felt very predictable after some miles of getting used to the extra height. The center was hard and lasted many hundreds of miles of highway rides.

Rook, in your opinion, would the Bridgestone rival the PR3 for miles? Have you gone through a set already? How many miles did you get off them if you have? It'd be kinda cool if a chart existed that compared the Bridgestones against the Michelins in terms of sticky & hard. I know I know...that's what she said. lol..

I've run 5 sets of the 016, they DON'T last very long riding aggressively! I have trashed a set in 1000 miles, the longest I've had an 016 last was close to 3000(front).

I never have tried the PR3.
I am not the best person to ask about miles because I always get a ton of miles on any tire. I would say the BT-016 lasts a little less than stock. Much better grip of course. I have BT-003 on now which feel even stickier but the tire makes the bike feel unpredictable. I believe it is shaped more oval. It probably will feel great if I can muster the courage to lean it way over where all of the cornering surface area is. It is taking some getting used to.

juss put some Q2's on....and it is a different bike...the oem front lasted 5k, oem rear about 2k...rear bt016 3500....lovin the Dunlaps..
Good to hear another possitive review of the Q2's... Mine showed yesterday. Need to burn off my bt016's so I can mount up the Q2's.
